Little Gem
Fl. star-shaped, 55mm wide; perianth segments 21mm long, ovate to oblong, blunt, lime yellow with broad white halo at base, a little inflexed, plane, with margins incurved, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping at base; corona 24mm long, cylindrical, smooth, yellowish white, mouth straight and wavy, with rim notched.
The bulb was named after Freddie Raymond (02/04/2010-13/04/2010) who sadly passed away at 11 days old. Much loved and wanted son and brother. At the time of his illness and passing daffodils in the UK were in bloom everywhere and Freddie became affectionately known as Daffodil Boy.
