Fl. forming a double triangle, 110mm wide; perianth segments 44mm long, ovate, blunt, mucronate, yellow, spreading, plane, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half; the inner segments narrower; corona 22mm long, cylindrical, angled, yellow, with a broad band of deep orange at rim, mouth straight, narrowly and lightly ribbed, irregularly six lobed, with rim narrowly flanged and minutely crenate.
