Fl. 102mm long; perianth segments 45mm long, roundish, very broad, blunt, light greenish yellow, spreading, plane, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping one-third; the inner segments narrower, shouldered at base; corona 14mm long, bowl-shaped, angled, vivid yellow  with a band of strong orange at rim, mouth expanded, ribbed and wavy, with rim entire. Sweetly scented.

102mm; The perianth is a pure buttery yellow with very broad segments that have great substance. The corona is chrome yellow with a fiery ring of orange at the rim. 

Origin of Name

Named because it has a “firey ring” around the edge of the cup and for the parent’s names.
