Fls. 3-6 per stem, 40mm wide, facing upwards; perianth segments 15mm long, roundish, truncate or blunt, prominently mucronate, opening yellow becoming white, spreading, concave, with midrib showing, of  heavy substance, overlapping half or more; the inner segments more nearly ovate, inflexed, with margins incurling or wavy, shouldered at base, less prominently mucronate; corona 5mm long, bowl-shaped, ribbed, opening orange becoming yellow, mouth flared and wavy, with rim minutely crenate.

Is an 8 Y-O and passes to 8 W-Y.

Origin of Name

90 year old Farr Hall was the original infirmary on the Mississippi College campus, and has now been repurposed as the Army ROTC class room building.
