Fl. 85 mm wide, facing up; perianth segments very broad, blunt, mucronate, brilliant yellow, spreading, concave, with margins incurved, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping; the inner segments narrower; corona funnel-shaped, angled, light orange, with a darker tone at mouth and with vivid yellow at base, mouth ribbed, straight, lobed, wavy, with rim flanged and crenate. Sunproof. Strongly scented.
