Fl. 100 mm wide; perianth segments broadly ovate, blunt, mucronate, slightly reflexed, plane or a little concave, smooth and of heavy substance, irregular, overlapping half; the inner segments more narrowly ovate, shouldered at base, spreading; corona bowl-shaped, widely expanded, strongly ribbed, mouth deeply split in places and overlapping, wavy, rim more or less entire.

Named for a district on Bayham Estate in East Sussex.
