Fl. forming a double triangle, 111mm wide; perianth segments 43mm long, broadly ovate, blunt, yellow, with slight, pale mucro, spreading, shallowly concave, with prominent midrib showing, of heavy substance, overlapping half; the inner segments narrower, truncate; corona 22mm long, cup-shaped, angled, orange, mouth a little expanded, ribbed, wavy and irregularly lobed, with rim notched. 

Named for the co-founder of Alcoholics Anonymous.
