Fl. 110mm wide; perianth and other petaloid segments in three whorls; the outer whorl 50mm long, broadly ovate, blunt, slightly truncate and mucronate, spreading, concave, with margins incurved, with midrib showing, of heavy substance, overlapping one-third to a half; the inner segments narrower and shouldered at base; the middle whorl shorter and narrower than the outer whorl, inflexed and slightly creased; the inner whorl more strongly inflexed, folded inwards from midrib, with margins incurled and wavy; corona segments half the length of the perianth segments, interspersed among the middle and inner whorls of perianth segments and clustered at center, broad, with wavy margins.

Named for the raiser’s home in Northern Ireland.
