Fls 1-3 per stem, 70 mm wide; perianth segments ovate, brilliant greenish yellow with a broad band of white at base and with white mucro, a little inflexed, with margins sometimes recurved or wavy, overlapping at base only; corona cup-shaped, loosely ribbed, opening yellow, becoming white, mouth straight, lightly frilled, sometimes split in places, with rim more or less entire.
