Fl. forming a double triangle, 110mm wide; perianth segments 45mm long, very broadly ovate, blunt, mucronate, bright yellow, spreading, plane or with margins slightly incurved, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half; the inner segments narrower; corona 27mm long, split to base, the six segments each closely overlying a perianth segment, forming an outer and an inner whorl of three, two-thirds the width of the perianth segments, bi-lobed, with lobes overlapping, lightly creased, bright pink, heavily frilled.
