This medal is provided from a fund bequeathed by Ralph Bernard White. It is awarded to the breeder (or if deceased to the principal cultivar stockholder) of the best new daffodil cultivar exhibited at one of the Society's shows in London during the year, and must be 'new' in the sense that its name has not been registered more than 5 years previously.
It may be awarded annually, at the discretion of the Daffodil & Tulip Committee.

Fls up to 6 per stem, rounded, 28 mm wide, dark yellow; perianth segments roundish, with prominent white mucro, spreading, concave, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half; corona cup-shaped, smooth, mouth even or slightly wavy, with rim entire. Sweetly scented.
