Fl. forming a double triangle, 80mm wide, golden yellow; perianth segments 35mm long, ovate, blunt, with pale mucro, a little reflexed, plane, with midrib showing, of heavy substance, overlapping half; the inner segments narrower, shouldered at base; corona 36mm long, funnel-shaped, smooth, mouth expanded, irregularly ribbed and lightly frilled, with rim dentate.
