Fl. 110mm wide; perianth and other petaloid segments in several whorls, lemon yellow with prominent pale mucro; the two outer whorls 38mm long, very broad, roundish, spreading, plane, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping two-thirds; the inner whorls successively shorter and more inflexed towards the centre, concave or crumpled; corona segments in several whorls, three-quarters the length of and interspersed among the perianth segments, creased, wavy to lightly frilled, with rim minutely crenate.
