Fl. 92 mm wide; sulfur yellow, cadmium orange; perianth segments and other petaloid segments in two whorls, broadly ovate in outline, blunt or squarish at apex, brilliant greenish yellow, overlapping 1/3; outer whorl spreading or slightly inflexed, plane or somewhat concave; inner whorl more strongly inflexed, creased, sometimes deeply thumbed, margins more or less deeply incurling; corona segments interspersed among the inner petaloid segments and clustered at center, 1/3 the length of the petaloid segments, light orange with strong orange at rim, frilled.
