Fl. rounded, 85 mm wide; perianth segments very broad in outline, rounded at apex, light greenish yellow, reflexed, convex, with margins recurved, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping; the inner segments narrower; corona cup-shaped, ribbed, yellow-orange, paling to pale orange-yellow at base, mouth straight, obscurely lobed, with rim entire. Sweetly scented. First bloomed earlier than 1987;
