Comments

Perianth segments soft yellow; corona widely expanded, bowl-shaped, bright reddish orange, paling towards base, frilled.

According to The American Horticultural Society’s 1937 issue of the The American Daffodil Year Book, B. Y. Morrison’s article “Daffodil Novelty Trials, 1936” states: “Cheerio belongs in the company of ‘Carbineer’, the newer race of tall and vigorous sorts with yellow perianth and colored cups.”
