Fl. 95 mm wide; ‘Ace of Spades’ plane perianth; longish cylindrical cup, rolled at mouth; perianth segments very broadly ovate, only very slightly mucronate, mid-yellow, spreading, plane, smooth, overlapping half; corona cylindrical, deeper in tone than the perianth at base, shading to glowing orange at rim, lightly frilled, with rim rolled. Early to mid-season. Sunproof.
