Rathowen DaffodilsFl. 102 mm wide; perianth segments very broad, rounded at apex, very slightly mucronate, pure white, spreading, plane, overlapping half or more; the inner segments oblong, truncate; three petaloid segments at center, white, strongly inflexed, with margins tightly rolled inwards; corona segments one-third the length of the perianth segments and loosely arranged above them, more tightly clustered among the petaloid segments at center, deep rose pink, closely frilled. Tetraploid minus 1.
Named in honor of Rosemary Roese, wife of the Duncan’s great friend Bill Roese of California who was a former American Daffodil Society President.
