Fl. 65 mm wide; perianth segments narrowly oblong, acute, reflexed, with margins incurved, smooth and of heavy substance, with midrib showing, overlapping; the inner segments less strongly reflexed; corona cylindrical, smooth in lower half, ribbed above, white, with green at base, with overtones of yellow outside, mouth flared and wavy, with rim flanged and crenate. Slightly scented.
Named for the Michigan town in which Dr. Reed first practiced medicine.
