Fl. 111mm wide, mid-yellow; perianth segments 45mm long, broadly ovate, blunt, prominent pale mucro, spreading, plane, creased and of heavy substance, overlapping half; the inner segments narrower; corona 46mm long, funnel-shaped, angled, mouth straight, wavy to very lightly frilled, sometimes shallowly lobed, with rim broadly flanged and minutely crenate.
