Parentage is ‘Bernardino’ and ‘King Alfred’ according to ‘Saint Bernard’ records.
Formerly known as ‘Saint Bernard’ pre1923 from William F.M. Copeland. The RHS description for ‘Saint Bernard’ is: “Perianth segments broadly ovate, blunt, only slightly mucronate, pale yellow, somewhat inflexed, with margins wavy, overlapping one-third; the inner segments narrower; corona funnel-shaped, ribbed, with a heavy tinge of red at rim paling to base, mouth tightly frilled.”
