Fl. forming a double triangle, 108mm wide, deep golden yellow; perianth segments 42mm long, broadly ovate, blunt, with slight pale mucro, spreading, plane, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half or more; corona 45mm long, cylindrical, smooth, mouth a little expanded, wavy to lightly frilled, with rim entire, widely flanged or
somewhat rolled. Early to mid-season.
