Comments

Sulfury-white perianth; perianth segments broadly ovate, blunt, prominently mucronate, sulfur white, somewhat inflexed, overlapping one-third; the inner segments twisted; corona only a little shorter than the perianth segments, cylindrical, lemon yellow, with mouth straight and loosely frilled, rim deeply crenate.

This has also been used as a Group name. RHS has it as a hybrid between a variant of N. bicolor and N. poeticus.

In the 1916 RHS Classification List, this cultivar was designated to be either lost to cultivation or surpassed by modern varieties.
