Fl. star-shaped, 70mm wide; perianth segments lanceolate, blunt, scarcely mucronate, very pale greenish-gray, reflexed, plane, smooth and of heavy substance, separated; the inner segments narrower; corona cup-shaped, broadly ribbed, grayish yellow green, mouth expanded and wavy, with rim crenate. Strongly scented. Autumn flowering. 

Group characteristics: unusual ‘sage’ perianth color, fairly uniform in height, flower shape and flowering time.
