R. van der Schoot and Son
R. van der Schoot and SonFls 3-5 per stem, 64 mm diameter; perianth segments very broadly ovate, creamy white, spreading, slightly creased, with margins incurling or more strongly incurved, overlapping half; the inner segments narrower; corona shallow bowl-shaped, ribbed, golden yellow, opening with a narrow band of a deeper tone at rim. Scented.
A description according to Daffodils, narcissus, and how to grow them as a hardy plants for cut… 1907 by Arthur Martin Kirby, when ‘Aspasia’ was known as ‘Louise’: “True poeticus formed flowers borne in clusters of three and four on stems two feet long. Large pure white petals and yellow cup.”
