Fl. rounded, 100 mm diameter, ice white; perianth segments very broad, shouldered at base, rounded at apex, spreading, concave, smooth, with midrib showing, of heavy substance, overlapping; the inner segments inflexed; corona cup-shaped, angled, with deep green at base, mouth straight and ribbed, frilled, with rim dentate.
