Fl. 95 mm diameter; perianth segments broadly ovate or roundish, light greenish yellow, with tinges of a darker tone, with white mucro, paling to white at base, reflexed, smooth, overlapping; inner segments more nearly ovate, square-shouldered at base; corona cylindrical or somewhat funnel-shaped, loosely ribbed, brilliant yellow, paler towards base, the rim flushed with a brighter color, all parts aging to buff, mouth more strongly ribbed, straight or slightly expanded, frilled, with rim regularly crenate. Resembles a slightly smaller ‘Cairngorm’ in coloring with the perianth segments blunter at apex. The predominant color in the corona may be pinkish.

According to the 1977 issue of the Rathowen catalog, it states: “Shown as seedling No. 10 by the raiser at London Shows.”
