Fl. forming a double triangle, 102 mm diameter, facing slightly downwards; perianth segments very broadly ovate, blunt, only slightly mucronate, white, spreading, plane, with margins minutely incurled in places, membranaceous, with midrib showing, overlapping half or more; the inner segments a little narrower, shouldered at base, with margins slightly wavy; corona disc-shaped, strongly ribbed, orange-red, obscurely 6-lobed, with rim wavy and minutely dentate. Sweetly scented.
