Fl. 69 mm diameter; perianth segments ovate, rounded at apex, vivid yellow, reflexed, plane, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping at base only; the inner segments narrower; corona cup-shaped, ribbed, orange-red, mouth lightly expanded, wavy, with rim slightly dentate.
