Fl. rounded, 60 mm wide; perianth segments very broad, rounded or squarish at apex, prominently mucronate, spreading or very slightly reflexed, plane, smooth, of good substance, regular, overlapping half or more; the inner segments roundish, somewhat truncate, less noticeably mucronate, more nearly spreading, with margins slightly wavy; corona broad disc-shaped, ribbed, yellow, with pale green at base and a clearly defined narrow band of bright red at rim, with the rim minutely incised.

Origin of Name

Part of the “Ian Secrett Series”. A tradesman, F.A. Secrett, who acquired most of Engleheart’s poet culitvars and seedlings which he named and introduced for him.
