Comments

Fl. 78 mm wide; perianth segments broadly ovate, blunt, slightly mucronate, brilliant greenish yellow, touched white at base, strongly reflexed, slightly twisted, glistening, overlapping a quarter to one-third; the inner segments more gently reflexed, creased and more distinctly twisted; corona cylindrical, lightly ribbed, becoming greenish white, touched brilliant greenish yellow at rim, mouth flared, even, rim regularly crenate.

Chromosome Count=27/13; tetraploid -1 should be moderately fertile, but a sector of cells was found with only 13 chromosomes; If this sector is extensive, fertility could be impaired.
