Fl. 105 mm wide; perianth and other petaloid segments blunt, slightly mucronate, inflexed, overlapping; the outer whorl sometimes more than six in number; corona segments interspersed, nearest to strong orange, with rim crenate.

According to The Daffodil Society’s Newsletter 2010 in Janine Doulton’s article, “RHS Late Competition at Wisely”, she writes: “…’Gay Kybo’ which was originally discarded by Mrs. Richardson but rescued and registered by du Plessis Bros in 1980.”

Origin of Name

Part of Richardson’s “Race Horse Series.” Named after a very successful Irish race horse.
