Fl. 98 mm wide; perianth segments very broadly ovate, blunt, slightly mucronate, spreading, sometimes with margins minutely incurling, smooth or a little creased, of heavy substance, overlapping half; the inner segments more narrowly ovate, square-shouldered at base, a little inflexed and concave; corona funnel-shaped, lightly ribbed, deep pink, with green at base, mouth slightly flared, wavy, with rim notched and crenate.
