Fl. rounded, 110 mm wide; perianth segments roundish, vivid yellow, plane, with margins slightly incurling, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping; the inner segments narrower; corona disc-shaped, smooth, opening vivid orange, becoming paler in tone, with mouth even and rim crenate.

Origin of Name

Part of Peter and Lesley Ramsay’s ‘Cameo Series’. Named after Alf Chappel who gave the Ramsays the pollen. Alf was a bit of a rebel in his day!
