Fl. 101 mm wide; perianth segments broadly ovate, blunt, prominently mucronate, brilliant greenish yellow, somewhat reflexed, overlapping one-third; the inner segments twisted and nicked; corona funnel-shaped, lightly ribbed, richer in tone than vivid yellow, mouth straight, frilled, with six overlapping lobes, rim minutely crenate.
