Quick Help
Introduction
This unique daffodil photo database is a Internet query system sponsored by the American Daffodil Society. The purpose of DaffSeek is to provide useful information and photos to anyone interested in gardening, growing, showing, hybridizing, or photographing daffodils.
Since DaffSeek has thousands of photographs, the database provides a means to visually identify your daffodils. It also can provide seasonal growing information, comments, and the history of your daffodils. In many cases, there will be one or more photograph of each daffodil.
The Menu enables you to easily do the most popular DaffSeek queries.
The Expanded Menu provides a way for you to do more complex, exact, or specialized queries.
The query menus can be a little intimidating at first, but please remember you only have to enter a partial flower name to see results.
You can see daffodil photos simply by entering the word “Pink” in the "Daffodil Name".
The "Daffodil Name" is the first query area near the top of the menu.
Once you see the results of the “Pink” query, you will see the other screens of DaffSeek and understand how it works.
DaffSeek returns information for any match or partial match of the "Daffodil Name". For example, a query for a daffodil name “Ice” will return a list of results including the names “Cherry Ice” or “Lemon Juice”.
Please experiment and try different combinations of queries.
