    Query Database

The Query Database Menu enables you to do quick and simple daffodil searches or more complex ones.

You can see daffodil photos by doing nothing but keying "Pink" in the Daffodil Name. Once you see the results of the Pink query, you will understand how DaffSeek works. The Query Database Menu returns daffodil information for any match or partial match of the "Daffodil Name".  For example a query for a daffodil name “Ice” will return a list of results including the names “Cherry Ice” or “Lemon Juice”.

Several of the query menu fields have check-boxes or 'modifiers'.  These are provided to enable more precise or exact searches, but are not rquired for most queries.  For example, you may search for white daffodils with pink cups by entering "W" for Perianth Colors (petals), "P" for Corona Colors (cup), and checking "Exact Match" next to each of those fields.

The #  Expanded Menu Option has several additional query fields to aid daffodil hybridizers. The "Special Classes" query will display daffodils on special lists, including the Miniature and Intermediate lists, from daffodil societies around the world.
The photographer's query can be set to see only the photos of a specific photographer or see all photos with the requested photographer's framed in red.
