Comments

The very large flowers are of imposing proportions with wide spread overlapping petals and excellent smoothness. The corona is a true bowl shape cup rather than a flaring type seen on most division three daffodils. The colors are dramatically bright.

Origin of Name

Named for the first time this flower was viewed by Dr. Reed and Dr. Peter Ramsay from New Zealand.  When seen by Peter Ramsay at my farm it made such a “Sudden Impact” on him that he threw one of my flag makers at it declaring that he wanted that one!
