Fl. rounded, 102mm wide; perianth segments 45mm long, very broadly ovate, blunt, mucronate, white, spreading’ concave, with margins incurved, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half; the inner segments narrower, shouldered at base; corona 19mm long, cup-shaped, broadly ribbed, deep pinkish red, mouth expanded, wavy and irregularly lobed, with rim crenate. Strongly scented.

Origin of Name

Part of Colin Crotty’s “Valley Series”. Named because the daffodil was bred in Pleasant Valley which is on the outskirts of Geraldine, South Island New Zealand.
