Fl. star-shaped, facing upwards; perianth and other petaloid segments in several whorls, vivid greenish yellow; the outer whorl ovate to oblong, blunt to rounded, spreading, plane or with margins incurved, smooth and of membranaceous substance, overlapping half; the inner whorls becoming successively shorter, folded inwards from midrib and inflexed; corona segments interspersed among the perianth segments and clustered at center, brilliant yellow, broad, inflexed, deeply frilled. Dwarf. Strongly scented.
