Fl. forming a double triangle, 70mm wide; perianth segments 30mm long, broadly oblong in outline, blunt at apex, mucronate, opening pale yellow, quickly becoming white, spreading, plane, smooth, overlapping one-third; the inner segments narrower, broadly ovate, shouldered at base, with margins a little incurved; corona 25mm long, funnel-shaped, short, angled, bright mid-orange, mouth slightly expanded, even, with rim deeply crenate.
