Fl. star-shaped; perianth segments narrowly ovate, blunt or acute, only very slightly mucronate, spreading, often twisted, or with margins incurved at apex and recurved at base, overlapping at base only; corona bowl-shaped, ribbed, bright yellow, with mouth split in places and overlapping, tightly frilled. Dutch origin.
