Fls often 2 per stem; perianth segments broadly ovate, blunt, prominently mucronate, light yellow, spreading or a little inflexed, with margins slightly wavy or incurled, overlapping a quarter; the inner segments more narrowly ovate, more strongly inflexed, twisted and with margins often deeply incurled; corona broad cup-shaped, ribbed, darker in tone than the perianth, with a broad band of reddish orange at rim, lightly frilled, with rim crenate.
