The 1909 Barr catalog says “found by Mr. Barr in Spain”; Fl. rich orange-yellow; perianth segments inflexed, twisted; corona cylindrical or somewhat funnel-shaped, mouth expanded, with rim deeply notched, sometimes distinctly 6-lobed.
