Fl. rounded, primrose yellow; perianth and other petaloid segments in numerous whorls, fairly regular superimposed, the center whorls clustered, strongly inflexed, with margins tightly incurled.

A description according to Daffodils, narcissus, and how to grow them as a hardy plants for cut… 1907 by Arthur Martin Kirby, “A much admired variety with large double flowers of a primrose yellow.”

According to Peter Barr’s 1909 Daffodil Catalog: “A beautiful Double Incomparabilis Daffodil recently introduced, and of quite distinct shade of color. The flowers are large and of beautiful form, color a soft self-lemon, height 20 inches.”
