Fl. rounded; perianth and other petaloid segments white; the outer whorl broadly ovate, blunt, slightly mucronate, spreading, plane, broad midrib showing, overlapping half or more; inner whorl a little shorter and narrower, irregularly arranged, strongly inflexed, folded inwards along the midrib, margins incurling, sometimes twisted; cup segments shorter than the petaloid segments at center and clustered among them, broad, deep pink, more or less heavily frilled. ‘Holbeck’ and ‘Jamaica Inn’ are siblings.
