Fl. forming a double triangle, 128mm wide, white; perianth segments 56mm long, ovate, acute, spreading, plane or with margins incurved, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half; the inner segments narrower, shouldered at base; corona 41mm long, funnel-shaped, mouth flared, ribbed and frilled, with rim dentate.

Origin of Name

Part of the Miller’s “Pirongia Series”. Pirongia is the name of the nearest town where the Millers live. It is also the name of a nearby mountain. Ice stands for the color of this daffodil.
