Fl. star-shaped, 40mm wide, facing up; perianth segments 14mm long, lanceolate, acute, mucronate, spreading, plane, smooth, separated; the inner segments slightly narrower; corona 17mm long, disc-shaped, ribbed, mouth expanded, heavily frilled, with rim crenate. Autumn to very early. N. bulbocodium scent.
