Fl. forming a double triangle, facing slightly upwards; perianth segments broadly ovate, blunt, yellow, with pale mucro, spreading, a little concave, smooth, overlapping one-third; the inner segments narrower, shouldered at base; corona cylindrical, smooth, darker than the perianth segments, mouth broadly flared, lightly frilled, six-lobed, with rim entire.

Named by the second grade classes of the Madeira Elementary School, for the mascot of the Madeira School in Cincinnati, Ohio.
