Fl. forming a double triangle, 112mm wide; perianth segments 48mm long, broadly ovate, blunt, yellow, with pale mucro, spreading, plane or with margins slightly incurved, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half; the inner segments narrower, shouldered at base, more nearly plane; corona 49mm long, cylindrical, smooth, yellow, mouth flared, wavy and lobed, with rim notched and narrowly rolled.

Named in memory of the McQuarrie’s loyal and loving Oriental cat, Oscar.
